Citizens of Baltimore County,

Thank you for visiting the web site of the oldest and most prestigious Republican organization in Baltimore County. Since the club’s inception in 1984, we have worked to strengthen the Republican Party in Baltimore County by helping to successfully elect Republican officials and through grassroots activism.

Over the next year I plan to help the club focus on the following priorities:
• Increased Membership
• Successful Fundraising
• Active Participation

As president I have established a goal of doubling the club’s membership during the course of my term. To accomplish this, the club has been engaging in targeted door knocking, participating in community events such as parades and fairs, and has created an increased Internet and social media presence.

Fundraising is an essential party of any successful political movement. This year the club held its 18th annual chicken dinner, where it raised nearly $7,000. To build upon this fundraising success, I have implemented an aggressive fundraising strategy that will allow our club to have four times the amount of money it had in 2006. These dollars will help Republicans compete in an unprecedented way in 2010.

Encouraging active participation is a primary need for a successful club and party. During the course of this year I created events to encourage Republicans to become more involved. The club now features fundraising, social and political activities to give club members a wide array of ways to build relationships and encourage activism.

I urge new visitors to our site to explore what our club does and think about becoming active in our organization. With the support of new activists and the continued participation of current members, our club can make a change in Baltimore County and Maryland.
